How to set up inbound connector

Before you configure the MX records for incoming filtering, you have to create a partner connector in Exchange Online to accept filtered mail only from the SpamBull spam filter.

  1. Sign in to Exchange Admin Center with global administrator credentials.
  2. In the left menu, click on Mail Flow to expand the tab.
  3. Click on Connectors.
  4. Click on + Add a connector.
  1. Choose Partner organization.
  2. Click Next.
  1. Give the connector the name SpamBull spam filter.
  2. Ensure that the checkbox Turn it on is selected.
  3. Click Next.
  1. Choose By verifying that the sender domain matches one of the following domains.
  2. Add the * (asterisk) symbol in the field
  3. Click the + icon.
  4. Click Next.
  1. Ensure that Reject email messages if they aren’t sent over TLS is ticked.
  2. Tick the Reject email messages if they aren’t sent from within this IP address range.
  3. Add the SpamBull spam filter IP ranges below one at a time.

  1. Click the + symbol.
  2. Click Next.
  1. Verify the settings and click Create Connector.
  1. Click Done.
  1. Verify that the SpamBull spam filter connector appears in the Connectors list.

The inbound connector is successfully added.
