How to enable daily or weekly report of all the protected mailboxes

Protection Reports are essential tools for keeping digital communications safe and secure. SpamBull has a Periodic Protection Report, which sends a daily or weekly summary of blocked messages for all users in a specific domain. It helps administrators understand the types of threats their organisation faces and allows them to take necessary actions to enhance email security.

How to generate Protection Reports

To access Protection Reports, you need to go to the Domain Control Panel.

  1. Log in to the SpamBull admin center.
  2. In the left menu, expand the tab General.
  3. Navigate to the domain you added by clicking on Domains overview (see Add domain first, if you have not yet added the domain).
  4. Click on the domain you want to generate protection reports for.
  1. In the left menu of the Domain Control Panel, click on Reporting.
  2. Click on Protection report – domain to get the overview.
  3. To enable the report tick the Report enabled box.
  4. In the Recipient address field, enter the email address(es) the report should be sent to. Separate multiple recipients with a comma.
  5. Select the Report Frequency from the dropdown. The options are:
    • Daily
    • Weekly
  6. Select the Language you want the report to be in. The languages available are:
    • da – Danish
    • de – German
    • en – English
    • es – Spanish
    • fr – French
    • it – Italian
    • nl – Dutch
    • pt – Portugese
    • ru – Russian
  7. Select the Format of the report. The options are:
    • HTML
    • PDF
  8. If you want to include a table of messages that were rejected but not quarantined, enable the Include extra spam table option.
  9. If you want the report to be sent even when no messages have been quarantined in the set period, select Send report with no quarantined messages.
  10. Once you’ve made your changes, click on Update.

After updating the Protection report details, the Periodic Domain Report sends a daily or weekly digest of all the previous days or weeks blocked messages for all the domain’s users.
